Londoners most willing to travel for work

Londoners are willing to travel the longest distance to get to work, according to a YouGov survey commissioned by office space, serviced offices and meeting rooms provider Avanta.

Londoners are willing to travel the longest distance to get to work, according to a YouGov survey commissioned by office space, serviced offices and meeting rooms provider Avanta.

The online survey, questioned 2,094 people nationwide, found that 41% of Londoners who are not students or retired are willing to commute for a maximum of an hour each way to get to work, while 37% are willing to travel for more than an hour, compared to 21% nationally.  
 
The least willing commuters who are not students or retired were people in the Midlands, where 52% (were willing to travel for up to, or less than, 45 minutes each way), while  27% were willing to travel up to an hour, but only 14% were willing to travel for longer.
