Healthcare Locums (HCL) has announced the appointment of Mark Staniland as managing director of its social care division, made up of Bluecare, RS Social Care and HCL Social Work Professionals.

Staniland, who has more than 20 years’ experience in specialist recruitment, joins HCL from Hays, where he was responsible for all of Hays’ UK public sector businesses, including the health and social care division. 

HCL’s executive vice chairman Kate Bleasdale says:  “We are absolutely delighted that Mark has agreed to join us, and we are very pleased to welcome him on board.
