McDonald’s has appointed marketing consultancy Oystercatchers to look for a staffing agency to manage its pitch for overseeing its employer brand and recruitment advertising business.

Oystercatchers will be responsible for all initial agency contact on behalf of McDonald’s and will also recommend a pitch shortlist.

The pitch follows a strategic review undertaken by McDonald’s to assess the role of its employer brand and recruitment advertising work.

Agencies will need to demonstrate how McDonald’s can ensure its employer brand and recruitment advertising work is relevant, effective and aligned with its overall business strategy.

Jez Langhorn, head of talent and education at McDonald’s UK, says: “As part of a strategic review of our partner agencies, we feel that now is the right time to put this account out to tender.”
