Creative recruiter Purple Consultancy is to organise a series of monthly networking events around the UK with digital media training centre Academy Class.

The free events, for around 50 delegates at a time, will offer software and web technology training, as well as forums for people working in the sector to meet at and exchange ideas.

Toby Thwaites, founder and director at Purple, says: “We’ve raised the issue of the lack of technical training available for the creative industries in the past, and we’re now very pleased to be proactively involved with offering a solution to the problem.”
