Metin Mitchell & Company, an executive search and advisory firm based in the Dubai International Financial Centre, has launched in the Gulf region.

Executive search recruiter, Metin Mitchell, and UAE-based Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) strategic advisor, Dominique Liana Russo, teamed up to launch the firm, which is supported by a network stretching across Asia, Europe and North America.

Mitchell, co-founder and managing partner, was previously regional managing director of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for multinational executive search firm giant Korn/Ferry. Active in the region since 1995, he launched Korn/Ferry’s Middle East practice in 1998, and led its physical expansion in the region, beginning in 2004.

Company co-founder and senior partner, Russo, also brings a wealth of experience for the MENA region, starting with her Wall Street tenure at Merrill Lynch 15 years ago and more recently as management consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, advising various financial institutions and government organisations in the US and the Middle East.

The GCC is a political and economic union of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.
