Mike Kirkham has resigned from the board of OPD.

In a statement the company says Kirkham’s resignation is with immediate effect from 28 April 2009. Kirkham joined the board as an independent non-executive director in May 2006 and has been chairman of the remuneration committee since May 2007.  

Doug Sutherland will be appointed chairman of the remuneration committee with immediate effect and the company will look to appoint an additional non-executive director in due course.
