Monster has launched its Career Ad Network (CAN) in the UK. CAN targets candidates across the internet by analysing users’ online information to assess their job experience and interests.  

Monster has launched its Career Ad Network (CAN) in the UK. CAN targets candidates across the internet by analysing users’ online information to assess their job experience and interests.  

These banner ads appear throughout Monster’s advertisement network and on diverse partner sites.

As candidates browse their favourite sites, they only see CAN job advertisements relevant to their interests and experience displayed in a banner. When they click on a CAN job advertisement, they are taken directly to the Monster site where they can learn more about the position and apply online.


“Highly targeted, precision job advertising is the new frontier for online recruitment. In the current job market, employers need to be able to pinpoint the most appropriate candidates whether they are currently looking for employment or not,” says James Brian, director of product at Monster UK and Ireland.

“Click through rates with CAN are far higher than traditional banner ad programmes because viewers are only targeted with vacant positions that resonate with their experience and interests. This helps employers to adapt their recruitment strategy to keep targeting the right talent.”
