Secretarial and office support staff agency Angela Mortimer has appointed a new group chief executive for the first time in 30 years.

Aled Morris, previously European managing director for worldwide agency Spherion Inc., has taken up the position. Prior to that, he was managing director of Office Angels and European finance director for Russell Reynolds Inc. He also spent 10 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

John Mortimer, who has been chief executive since the company's formation in 1976, is to have a new role in the company, the details of which have not yet been finalised.
