International design and digital recruiter Nakama has opened an office in Melbourne, Australia.

International design and digital recruiter Nakama has opened an office in Melbourne, Australia.

Julia Falcone, an ex-colleague of Rob Sheffield and Paul Goodship who started Nakama after they had all worked together in Aquent for many years, has been appointed as director of the Melbourne business.

Sheffield says: “Julia has more than 10 years’ experience recruiting in the design and digital industry and Melbourne has got off to a great start with some very promising hires and some exciting clients. We hope to follow this with an office in Sydney.”

The opening of the new Melbourne office follows other openings in London, Paris and Munich. The group also expects to open an office in Hong Kong next year.
