Education charity, the National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS) launched in the West Midlands today.
The launch was attended by employers and students from Birmingham Metropolitan College and Babington Business College and hosted by Craig Errington, chairman of the NSAFS’ West Midlands Board and chief executive of the Birmingham-based Wesleyan Group, while Paul Lewis, BBC Radio 4, Money Box presenter gave the keynote address.
Sylvia Perrins, chief executive of the NSAFS, says: “We are committed to working with and serving the needs of young people and employers in the West Midlands. Our focus is on supporting businesses, helping them meet the evolving skills requirements needed in the financial services sector, and in developing the new talent they will need, to help them grow and support the local economy.”
