Justjobsnorfolk.co.uk, a newly launched dedicated website, says it attracted 61,488 jobseekers in its first month.

Job advertisements on the site received more than 3,000 applications in three weeks, it says, and 90% of visitors are viewing more than one page and almost half are revisiting the site.

Co-founder Russell Evans says: “These are very impressive results for such a new site and show that the people of Norfolk were in need of such a service and are making the most of it. Based on these results we are now planning our launch of a Suffolk-specific recruitment website called justjobssuffolk.co.uk in early 2007.”

The website was launched with a £250,000 advertising and marketing campaign.
