Recruiters The Personnel Desk and D&P Consultants are to relocate to larger premises within Milton Keynes.

The move follows The Personnel Desk’s acquisition of D&P Consultants.

Insolvency firm SFP oversaw the sale of D&P Consultants, saving 14 permanent and more than 150 temporary jobs. Licensed members of the Insolvency Practitioners’ Association, SFP’s Daniel and Simon Plant were appointed joint administrators of D&P Consultants on 1 November.

Paul Dunham, managing director at The Personnel Desk, told Recruiter: “This week we are moving to larger premises to accommodate both businesses in Linford Wood, an area of Milton Keynes.

“D&P is a well established business with a strong client base and a loyal temporary staff workforce. It will give us a broader base of temporary workers and broaden the client base.

“All of the D&P staff have been retained – both permanent and temporary. Sonia Coleman, the former owner, has been taken on by the company as business consultant.

“The company is The Personnel Desk. We will continue to trade our direct recruitment business under the name of D&P Recruitment Specialists. The Personnel Desk will continue to operate as the Personnel Desk on its web-based activities.”
