The Philippines government has denied it plans to interfere with recruiters placing Filipinos overseas, reports the Sun.

Star news service. Labour secretary Arturo Brion denied stories that the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) would take control of such employment by setting up government-to-government schemes.

"The private sector is more efficient and we are happy with the way they deploy our workers," Brion said.
