Online recruitment network for TV, film and commercial production, ProductionBase, has appointed industry veteran Joe Mahoney as managing director.

He will report to Geoff Curry who will continue to oversee the ProductionBase business as a director of the Jobsite Group.

Mahoney, who has extensive experience of working with major film and television production companies as well as the BBC and Channel 4, joins the company immediately and will be responsible for overall management and strategic direction of the business, which is based in Clerkenwell, London.

Commenting on his appointment, Mahoney says: “I’m delighted to take up this position and to have the opportunity to build on the company’s significant successes to date.
