Research reveals the level of stress felt by public sector workers
A quarter of public sector workers have taken time off work because of stress, according to research from online learning provider SkillSoft.
Alarmingly the research revealed that more than half of public sector employees blame a lack of training for putting them under more stress.
The research found that Monday is overwhelming the day that public sector workers find the most stressful. It also discovered that mornings are the worst period of the day (32%), compared with afternoons (26%).
