More than nine in 10 of PricewaterhouseCoopers 2009 talent academy interns have been offered full-time work upon graduation, according to the firm.
This year’s five-day residential talent academy starts this week and aims to develop the employability skills of students early on in their degree.
Fifty-four students set to graduate in 2012/13 from universities across the UK will participate. Along with seminars for personal and professional development, students will work together to fill positions on the board of directors of a fictitious international transport business.
Eighteen students from the 2009 Academy have been offered a six-week internship at the firm this summer as a direct result of impressing at the academy and will work in PwC offices in Birmingham, East Midlands, London, Manchester, St Albans and Uxbridge.
