QPS Group has acquired London-based IT sales and marketing recruiter White Square Search through its UK subsidiary, Qualitas People Solutions (UK). The amount paid was not disclosed, however, the acquisition costs were met from the group’s cash reserves.

Colin Gerstein, QPS chief executive, says:  “This strategic acquisition bolsters the strong IT offering already provided by Qualitas People Solutions and supports our determination to grow even in these difficult economic conditions.”

QPS Group says the deal is “immediately earnings enhancing”.
