Recruitment giant Randstad has launched a UK graduate training programme.

The programme develops the day-to-day recruitment skills and involves a three-day outward bound exercise in the Peak District which focuses on building relationships, team working, communication and leadership while taking the graduates out of their comfort zones during challenging activities such as caving, climbing, abseiling, orienteering and raft building.

Randstad’s graduates can rotate on short placements within other business divisions to engage with different market sectors and visit headquarters in Amsterdam where they will learn about management of the global organisation.

The next graduate intake is planned for October of this year

Randstad has now appointed sixteen graduates to work across seven of its UK businesses (Randstad Business Support, Randstad Care, Randstad Managed Services, Randstad Education, Joslin Rowe & Martin Ward Anderson soon to be Randstad Financial and Professional, Randstad Technologies and Major Players).
