More than nine in 10 (96%) of employers say they now expect their permanent workforces to remain static or grow within the next quarter, up 2% on last month, according to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s (REC) April JobsOutlook.
The survey of 200 employers also shows 86% expect their use of agency workers to grow or stay the same within the same period and 94% expecting to maintain or grow their permanent workforce over the next 12 months.
