Awards take place tonight

The great and the good of the recruitment industry will converge upon the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane in London for the Recruiter Awards 2009, sponsored by Thomas International, tonight.

Hosted by the star of the fastest selling debut stand-up DVD of all time, Michael McIntyre, the awards recognise excellence and exceptional best practice among recruitment firms over the past year.

Always looking to innovate, this year’s awards ceremony will feature two new award categories: Best Corporate Social Strategy Strategy and Best Back Office Support Team.

“Times are tough, no doubt about it. But the ‘Blitz spirit’ is alive and well in recruitment — this year, people are feeling that there’s a real need to step back and appreciate their team’s hard work and their successes over the year. We agree, and we look forward to celebrating with all of you tonight,” says Recruitereditor DeeDee Doke.

Visit recruiter.co.uk tomorrow for the first pictures from what we expect will be a truly memorable night.
