Here is the news you have all been waiting for: we can now reveal the recruitment companies that have reached the final shortlist in the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2005, supported by psychometric assessment provider Thomas International.

We worked the judges hard this year, with the number of entries up 50% on 2004. So congratulations to those who made it to the shortlist, as competition was the toughest yet.

Recruiter would like to thank the panel of judges for their time and commitment in helping set and raise recruitment standards.

The panel were: Alison Cowen, recruitment manager at Britvic; Alison Hodgson, HR resourcing and projects director at Sodexho and chair of the Association of Graduate Recruiters; Roger Juniper, managing director of recruitment marketing specialist 360; Vance Kearney, vice president for HR at Oracle Europe; Paul Smith, publishing director of People Management; and Adrian Thomas, senior technical partner, resourcing and development, at the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Winners will be announced at the evening awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane on 13 April.
