Recruiter diversifies

Antal to diversify outside recruitment sector

Executive search firm Antal is to diversify outside the recruitment sector.

Tony Goodwin chairman and chief executive of Antal, said: “As the recent sale of our Russian business to the FiveTen Group demonstrates, our strategy is to provide senior managers, who have built up highly successful businesses around the world, with an exit strategy when the time is right.”

Antal would not reveal exactly what they wanted to move into but Goodwin added:
“We are now in serious talks with potential partners in Russia across a number of potential areas including the technology, retail and the luxury products sectors.

“The long-term goal would be to build an international group with a well-balanced portfolio of activities over the coming decade, rather than just focusing on one area as we have historically.”
