Recruiter will inaugurate its first-ever conference and masterclass for the recruitment industry this spring.

The Recruiter Annual Forum 2007 one-day conference will be held in London on 24 April. A half-day interactive masterclass on recruitment process outsourcing will follow on 25 April. Attendees can book attendance at either or both events.

The blue-chip line-up of speakers from the recruitment industry will address issues around the theme of 'Building a world-class recruitment brand: Winning the race to be provider of choice by delivering superior service to both clients and candidates'.

"We are so pleased to finally launch an event of this kind — it is a major milestone in our ongoing development," said Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke. "We've had numerous requests from readers to develop a conference to inform, as well as inspire, recruiters. Now we've created an event that will do just that. Our line-up of speakers is second to none, and recruiters who attend will have an unparalleled opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business.

" And no event for recruiters would be complete without opportunities to network, Doke added. The line-up of confirmed speakers includes recruiters across the spectrum of sectors, including previous winners of Recruiter Awards for Excellence, companies represented in Recruiter's Hot 100, plus industry experts from the customer service, corporate finance and research arenas.

The event will be co-chaired by Steve Huxham, chairman of the Recruitment Society, and Gary Irvine, chairman of the REC Board of Directors. In addition to nine case studies of outstanding recruitment practice, there will be a panel discussion about multi-layered recruitment strategies that will feature representatives of key employers such as Unilever and Vodafone.
