Hospitality company Whitbread will require results-driven, passionate people with good communication skills to fill 1,000 new roles, according to Amanda Brady, the firm’s head of human resources for UK operations.

Last week the hotel, pub and restaurant firm announced it will be creating 1,000 new full or part-time catering and hospitality jobs in London and other regions of the UK over the next 12 months.

Brady told Recruiter: “At Whitbread we are looking for talented individuals who are organised and efficient and have the ability to work well under pressure. We recruit team members who are energetic, passionate and focused on delivering excellent results.

“Working in the hospitality industry requires strong communication skills with an innate ability to focus on our guests’ needs. From managing a reception to running a kitchen, our team members should be able to multitask and deliver excellent service.”
