ReThink Group posts profit increase
The ReThink Group has reported a pre-tax profit of £211,000 for the six months ended 30 June 2010, compared with £12,000 a year earlier.

The company’s gross revenues rose to £27m, compared with £24.6m a year earlier, with net fee income increasing by 12% to £5.9m.
The group revealed that its permanent recruitment revenues grew to £2.1m, compared with £1.5m a year earlier, while revenues from its business and IT consultancy division Aiimi increased by 4% to £1.03m. increase.
Jon Butterfield, chief executive, says: “Our strategy of not cutting our permanent recruitment teams in 2009 is proving to be the correct one, as demand has increased across the UK and our long-term customers have begun to hire again, these teams have delivered a £0.6m increase in gross profit.
“We must now continue to build and protect margin on contract recruitment and drive growth in contractor numbers towards 600 on billing by the end of 2010.”
