International recruiter Harvey Nash has seen revenue fall but says it has delivered ‘resilient’ results for the year ended 31 January 2010.
The group’s results reveal:
- revenue of £376.2m, down 10% from £420.1m (2009)
- gross profit of £60.4m, down 13% from £69.2m (2009)
- profit after tax of £0.9m, down 87% from £6.9m (2009)
- net cash of £5.1m, down 15% from £4.5m (2009).
Albert Ellis, chief executive at Harvey Nash, says: “Against the backdrop of one of the sharpest economic downturns, the group has delivered a resilient result for the year, generating profits and cash flow despite the severe global recession which affected all our markets.
“Although the outlook for the coming year continues to be uncertain, the prospects for a return to economic growth have improved since we reported our interims in September.”
