Global career site Monster Worldwide has seen revenues rise, according to financial results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2011.

Global career site Monster Worldwide has seen revenues rise, according to financial results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2011.

The group’s results reveal bookings of $262m (£159.5m), up 26% year-on-year with revenue of $270m, an increase of 25% year-on-year.

Sal Iannuzzi, chairman, president and chief executive of Monster Worldwide, said: “This strong performance is a testament to the breadth of our product portfolio, global scale and large seeker audience. We delivered on our commitment to improve profitability while remaining focused on product innovation.

“Innovation is fundamental to our growth strategy as demonstrated by the recent launch of two new offerings — BeKnown, our professional networking application on Facebook, and SeeMore, the market’s first cloud-based semantic search and analytics platform for managing companies’ CV databases.

“These offerings, combined with our portfolio of advanced recruitment products, positions Monster well for future growth.”
