Ian Moir, managing director of ASA Recruitment, was named Recruitment Leader of the Year at the Scottish Recruitment Awards 2010. Supported by Recruiter, the Scottish awards were organised by Scottish Business Insider. Other honours awarded were:

• Innovation of the Year: 9-20 Recruitment
• Small Agency of the Year: Driver Hire Borders (Galashiels branch)
• Medium/Large Agency of the Year: Head Resourcing
• Back Office Support Team of the Year: Bryant Group (Scotland)
• Newcomer Consultant of the Year: Zoe Morrison, Staffinders
• Individual Volume Specialist of the Year: Kelly Rossi, First People Solutions, Aviation Division
• Recruitment Individual of the Year: Linda Hunter, Escape Recruitment Services
• Recruitment Team of the Year: Bright Purple Resourcing.

The Awards, which also included the first rec-to-rec finalist at the awards in the Individual of the Year category, Martin Kay of Route2 Recruitment, was held a day after Recruiter’s Regional Forum in Glasgow.
