Multi-sector recruiter Search Consultancy has signed a Tier 2 deal to become the official recruitment agency for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games as the recruitment programme to fill 1,044 jobs begins, with 1,044 days to go.

The UK multi-sector recruitment specialist, headquartered in Glasgow, will be responsible for attracting and recruiting 1,044 people from now until the Opening Ceremony on 23 July 2014.

Roles range from technical sporting roles to corporate positions to event management.

Jobs will be advertised locally and via the Glasgow 2014 website at glasgow2014.com/jobs and recruitment begins from today.

Glasgow 2014 chief executive David Grevemberg says: “We have 1,044 days until the Opening Ceremony and I am delighted to announce that Search has officially become part of our Glasgow 2014 Family to recruit 1,044 jobs for the Organising Committee.
