GRS Group appoints new group chief executive

GRS Group, the international specialist search consultancy, has appointed Ken Brotherston to the newly created position of group chief executive.

Brotherston has been working with GRS for the last few months on a consultancy basis and has more than 20 years experience in the recruitment industry. Previously he was a director of Robert Walters, a member of the global operating committee of Korn/Ferry International, and most recently was chairman of Morgan McKinley Group.

He be responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the business. He will work with the management team in the creation and implementation of operational activities to see GRS Group achieve its goals of growth into new sectors and additional international markets.

Dan Chester and Richard Paisley, founders and majority shareholders of GRS Group, will remain as Executive Directors of the business and will be focusing on its international development.
