A skills shortage is blighting the renewable energy sector, according to David Spencer-Percival, chief executive at Spencer Ogden.
A skills shortage is blighting the renewable energy sector, according to David Spencer-Percival, chief executive at Spencer Ogden.
Spencer-Percival told Recruiter: “There is a skills shortage in offshore wind. Reconnection, where they have to connect up to the national grid, is hard to find. Unless they have that skill, there is only a handful of people that have the right skill, unless they want to train people to have that skill.”
