Dorset-based Smart Group Recruitment Solutions has introduced a new payroll initiative which allows temporary workers to receive their weekly payslips via email thereby making the payroll system far more time and cost efficient.

Helen Stacey of Smart Recruitment said: “This initiative was devised by the payroll team who were looking for a way of saving time and delivering a more efficient service, both to ourselves and our candidates. It is an opt-in scheme and so far 15% of our temps have opted to receive their payslips via email.”

Stacy added that the firm hopes to reach its target of 100% email compliance, which will have a significant impact on the business, recouping a lot of time and resources.
