Spring: Directors acquire share options of £1.8m

Directors and senior managers at Spring have received share options together worth more than £1.8m at today’s share price (38.7p), under the group’s long term incentive plan.
 

Directors and senior managers at Spring have received share options together worth more than £1.8m at today’s share price (38.7p), under the group’s long term incentive plan.
 
The awards are dependent on Spring achieving certain performance targets.  These are based on total shareholder return, compared with a group of other recruiters, including Michael Page and Hays, and on earnings per share.
 
The details of the awards which give the recipients the right to acquire shares at nil cost are as follows:

Neil Martin                         1,415,700  
Aidan Anglin                           400,000
Neil Jones                           400,000
Michele Casey                200,000  
Greg Lynch                           200,000
Tim Briant                           100,000  

In February, Spring  announced that its  earnings before income tax depreciation and amortisation grew by 15% to £9.2m in 2008.
