Recruitment and outsourced HR services Staffline has announced the appointment of Tim Jackson as finance director, following Carole Harvey’s recent decision to leave the group.

Recruitment and outsourced HR services Staffline has announced the appointment of Tim Jackson as finance director, following Carole Harvey’s recent decision to leave the group.

Jackson’s appointment to the board as finance director will be effective from today, while Harvey will remain as a director of the company until 31 December 2008, will continue to make herself available to the group until 31 March 2009, allowing for a smooth transfer of knowledge and responsibilities.

Jackson, a former finance director of Applied Language Solutions, also previously worked as a finance director at SG Maintenance Services, where he was instrumental in the operational and finance side of the business and its eventual disposal.

Commenting on Jackson’s appointment, Andy Hogarth (pictured), managing director of Staffline, said: “We are all sad to see Carole leave the company but we are also delighted to welcome Tim to the board as finance director.  Tim brings with him extensive experience in the food production, distribution and logistics sectors coupled with strong financial acumen.”
