Thomas International has signed on as headline sponsor for the Recruiter Awa- rds for Excellence 2008.

This is the sixth year that the psychometric testing specialist has taken a lead role in the industry's most prestigious awards.

"We're delighted to have Thomas back as we take the awards into a new stage of development," said Recruiter publisher Philip Hayne.

"This year new categories will sharpen the awards' focus on vertical sectors and reward 'best practice'."

The Awards entry process will be launched in the 19 September Recruiter.

"We still believe the Awards is an important industry standard to work to and towards," said Thomas chairman/CEO, Martin Reed.

"It is a way of benchmarking as the industry gets better and better."
