The data shows that Canada added 17,900 jobs in the month and brings total job gains since July 2009 to 176,000. In February, 20,900 jobs were created, while 43,000 were added in January.
Australia’s unemployment rate remained at 5.3% for a second consecutive month in March, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
Employment rose by 19,600 with full-time employment rising by 30,600, offset by a near 11,000 drop in part-time workers among Australia’s 11m-strong workforce.
