UK workers are finding it tough to take time off, according to a new survey from international recruiter Randstad.
The Randstad quarterly Workmonitor survey shows that around two-thirds (67%) of UK workers believe that their workload increased in the second quarter of 2010, while 40% say that their workload does not allow them to take the amount of time off they would like and that fitting in holidays with colleagues is getting harder.
And for those left behind, 63% feel they have to work harder when colleagues are on leave.
