Anglo-Italian helicopter company AgustaWestland has chosen Wynnwith Technical Services to provide technical staff and engineers for depth maintenance activities at Wattisham Airfield, the British Army’s main Apache AH Mk1 operating base and Depth Support Unit (DSU).

The agreement with AgustaWestland runs alongside the prime Apache integrated operational support contract, which runs initially to March 2014.

Julian Morison, chief executive, Wynnwith Group, says: “Wynnwith has developed a ‘recruitment plus’ service for the provision of managed workforces which enables clients like AgustaWestland to focus on their core business while Wynnwith deals with the recruitment and human resource aspects of the efficient operation of the staff.

“We have recently consolidated this service into a separate business division, Wynnwith Technical Services.”
