Media and marketing recruiter Xchangeteam has appointed Mike Berry as its new managing director, following a restructuring of its operations.

Emma Brierley, Xchangeteam’s founder and chief executive, will assume the position of chairman and will focus on the strategic direction of the company. 

Berry will drive day-to-day operations supported by new business unit director Maggie Maupin, who will head up PR, marketing and events. Nick O’Connor also takes on a new business unit director position and will head up the media, digital, creative and editorial teams. 

Berry has over 22 years of recruitment management experience which spans a wide variety of sectors within the professional services arena and has worked for both large corporate and smaller, niche recruitment companies such as Manpower, Elan and the Recruitment Investment Group.
