Corporate communications, investor relations and HR recruiter VMA Group has opened an office in Sydney, its seventh office worldwide.

The Sydney operation will be led by Ali Moores. She previously worked with VMA for two and a half years in its London operation.

Julia Meighan, VMA Group executive chairman, says the new office “is part of our overall commitment to our global customer base, both clients and candidates, who are now looking to widen their global exposure”.

This second Asia-Pacific region office follows the opening of VMA’s Hong Kong base last October, with offices in Birmingham and Amsterdam more recently starting operations over this summer.

VMA Group was 29th in Recruiter's 2012 Fast 50 rankings of the fastest-growing UK recruitment firms, with 17.48% compound annual growth and 2011 turnover of £11.5m.
