Ever eager to hunt out news stories, on a visit to Brighton last weekend, one of Recruiter’s news hounds came across an interesting caravan offering its tarot card reading services on Brighton Pier.
Nothing out of the ordinary there, you might think, but when our eagle-eyed correspondent spotted the tarot reader’s illustrious list of clients, his interest was piqued.
Among the clientele advertised on the side of the caravan are pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline, food and drink specialist Tate & Lyle, and telco behemoths Ericsson and Cable & Wireless.
What sorts of readings do these organisations ask for? Future company strategies? What the talent pipeline is looking like? We knew some of our huge companies were led by visionaries, but is this taking it a bit far…?
