A comedic video promoting a community job, employer and salary review website has racked up more than 1m hits in less than a week since the site’s launch.
Jobiness.com bills itself as “a career community that offers an inside look into organisations and serves as a platform for companies to increase employer branding.
It says its differentiating factor is the user-generated content. The site reveals salaries for various jobs, company reviews, office photos, interview questions and other details, all posted by company employees.
The good-humoured promotional video shows a former massage therapist getting pressed to put his hands back to work in his new desk job by comely female colleagues after they discover his skills. As of today [Friday, 23 Nov 2012], the video had even prompted a reaction video.
