At Recruiter we get frequent calls from companies wondering how they can qualify for or enter our FAST 50 league table of the UK’s fastest-growing private recruitment businesses, produced in association with Boxington Corporate Finance.

First: executives with high-growth recruitment businesses – and FAST 50 alumni – will want to rub shoulders with and learn fast growth secrets from the current crop of FAST 50 leaders at our exclusive FAST 50 2013 event, supported by Charles Russell, on 30 January at 6.30pm in London. (See last year's FAST 50 event pictured above.) Russell Clements, former chief executive officer at staffing group SThree, will be the guest speaker. Second: since the FAST 50 is based upon financial research and not reliant on companies submitting themselves for inclusion, it is not a case of ‘entering’ as such. Tim Evans, managing director of Boxington Corporate Finances, which produces the report in association with Recruiter, explains in the video below the key elements in ensuring your company is a viable contender:

In addition to the conditions laid out by Evans above, firms must have achieved annual sales of £5m or above in each of their last three financial years, and companies that have filed abbreviated accounts at Companies House without disclosing audited sales are excluded due to the lack of independently validated sales.

Qualifying companies are automatically identified through several research methods including the analysis of sector information from Companies House, financial databases, press coverage and other research. Entry submissions are not therefore required, although any firm which believes that it may not be automatically assessed in the 2014 FAST 50 is invited to contact Boxington Corporate Finance.
