Global energy recruiter Spencer Ogden will manage the recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) for mining firm Kalumbila Minerals, a subsidiary of First Quantum Minerals, on its Sentinel project in Zambia.
The RPO deal will hire for new mining jobs across all Sentinel operations in 2013. Part of Zambia’s broader Trident project, Sentinel’s copper mine has an estimated mine life in excess of 15 years.
To support the project, Spencer Ogden now plans to open a permanent base in Cape Town as well as an on-site project office in Zambia, and will continue expanding its supporting joint venture office in Johannesburg.
