Recruitment firm Adecco Group UK & Ireland has appointed NOW: Pensions to provide the workplace pension for its workforce under the government's auto-enrolment scheme.
This comes after NOW: also won a contract to provide auto-enrolment services to tens of thousands of temps at recruiter Randstad and staffing firm Blue Arrow. However, the Adecco deal only sees the firm work with internal staff at the recruiter.
The Adecco deal came in to force this month. The UK’s largest employers were the first obliged to set up such schemes under new legislation, which began a timetable of staged entry in October last year.
NOW: is a subsidiary of Arbejdsmarkedets Tillaegspension (ATP), which as Denmark’s statutory pension fund has for nearly half a century provided pensions to almost the entire population of the country, representing 4.7m individuals at 160,000 employers.
