Gary Lane has taken on the role of director of HR and recruitment at cloud contact centre solutions provider NewVoiceMedia.

The firm recently saw an investment of $20m (£13m) from various sources, and is now planning for growth, including opening new offices in North America and making a number of new appointments across the business.

Lane joins from software and enterprise solutions firm Salesforce.com where he managed recruitment in a number of EMEA locations, and has previously worked with software firms SAP and Excelerate, as well as consulting for staffing firms including Connections and Resourcing Group.
