IT, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and pharma recruiter Square One Resources has secured a new £16m invoice finance facility from Lloyds Banking Group, and is targeting further overseas growth.
The firm, which has placed people in over 40 countries worldwide, employs 110 people and recently opened a new office in the Polish capital of Warsaw.
Jo-Anna Mehew, Relationship Manager at Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, said: “The recruitment sector is seeing an increase in businesses like Square One Resources who are targeting international markets.”
However, as this publication found last year, many banks are “fundamentally” not interested in supporting recruiters' overseas ambition, according to recruitment industry consultant Paul Saunders.
