Professional recruitment firm Resources Global Professionals (RGP) is to promote Tony Cherbak to the role of chief executive officer on 28 May.

Incumbent CEO Don Murray will retain the role of executive chairman he also currently holds.

Cherbak has been with the firm since 2005, joining from professional services firm Deloitte, becoming chief operating officer in 2009.

RGP is the operating subsidiary of Resources Connection.
