San Francisco-based staffing and consulting firm M Squared Consulting has been acquired by US professional services firm SolomonEdwards from previous outright owners, Kelly Group.

Kelly Group, a South African recruitment group not related to US-based Kelly Services, sold the firm for a purchase consideration of $11m (£7.2m), subject to adjustments.

The expansion sees SolomonEdwards’ footprint expand to include the West Coast of the US.
