Mon, 8 Apr 2013Most jobseekers believe they deserve a response every time they apply for a job, whether successful or not.
This is according to a survey of 335 jobseekers and recruiters from CV writing and advice consultancy CV Writers, which finds 91% of respondents believe firms should take the time to respond to every applicant.
This comes in addition to a survey of 271 candidates taken last month by online recruiter webrecruit, where 60% said receiving no communication from recruiter was their biggest frustration when search for jobs. A further 29% said their number one gripe was not getting any feedback even after being shortlisted.
As previously reported by recruiter.co.uk, recruiters would do well, surprising though it may sound, to take the Ryanair benchmark for candidate care.
